I am having fun with my new mini muffins pan. I recently bought this nonstick mini muffin pan. So far, I have made several batches of mini blueberry muffins. This is wonderful for breakfast or anytime treat. Why not take them to the next holiday party?
I usually make several batches of large muffins and freeze them. So far I have not had any leftovers of the mini muffins to freeze. Why only make one batch? I learned a while ago that my time and effort was better spent making more than one batch at a time. Especially with muffins. They taste good after being defrosting.
Benefit of making several batches and freezing.
1. Saves a lot of time.
2. Wash items used only once
3. Ingredients are already out.
4. Fast healthy breakfast or treat.
5. Healthy alternative on road trips.
6. Item for “on the go food grab bag”.
Defrost them in the toaster oven or microwave. These are great when I am running late in the morning. I grab a few frozen muffins on my way out the door. They are defrosted by the time I get to work. It depend on how far away your work is. When traveling, I put the frozen muffins in the cooler. When someone gets hungry they are usually defrosted.
I have certain items that I put in my “on the go food grab bag”. These are items that I usually have on hand. It doesn’t take long to put them together. This food bag has helped me avoid unhealthy options several times.
